The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) convened its general membership meeting on Friday, February 14, 2024, marking the start of its annual banquet event. A key agenda item included member voting to select judges for the upcoming National Trainers’ Show.

Members elected Jeanette Baucom, Scott Beaty, and Bill Cantrell to officiate the 57th Annual National Walking Horse Trainers’ Show, scheduled for March 27–29, 2024, at the Cooper Steel Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee. This year’s edition, delayed by two weeks compared to its traditional timing, is anticipated to draw record-breaking participation, potentially ranking among the largest gatherings in the event’s recent history.
